
Research Assistant -R programming and curriculum development (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant (HiWi) with substantial knowledge of R programming and a strong interest or background in teaching and curriculum development. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the design of a graduate-level Biostatistics curriculum focused on applied and theoretical aspects of R programming.

Your Tasks
- Assist in the design, development, and refinement of a practical and theoretical curriculum for Master's-level students.
- Create educational materials, including lecture slides, coding exercises, assignments, and assessments.
- Stay updated on best practices and innovations in data science education.
- Collaborate closely with faculty and other researchers to ensure alignment with learning objectives and research goals.
- Assist in the development of PowerPoint presentation slides.
Your Profil
- Proficiency in R programming, including tidyverse, data wrangling, visualization, and statistical modeling.
- Strong foundation in data science, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development or educational content creation is a plus but not a requirement.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Works independently, motivated, reliable, and attentive to detail.
