Tasks and responsibilities

In an international, dynamic, and multidisciplinary environment, the candidate will work on the application and development of novel computational methods for analysis of state-of-the-art spatially resolved multi-omics single cell data. The work will be motivated by problems arising from a range of translational applications in the area of spatial biology.

Prerequisites

The candidate should:

  •  Have either a PhD degree in computer science, engineering sciences, physics or mathematics, or a PhD degree in biological sciences or medicine with very strong experience in computational work
  •  Have extensive experience programming in Python and/ or R
  •  Experience in development or application of machine learning/optimization methods
  •  Have good English communication skills
  • An exceptional candidate may optionally have one or more of the following experiences: Experience in analyzing spatial omics data
