Your Tasks
Our research focuses on iron metabolism and its disturbances in human disease. The aim of the advertised preclinical project is to test pharmacological interventions that ameliorate iron overload associated with hereditary hemochromatosis. To successfully engage in this study experience with murine disease models (including FELASA licence) is an absolute requirement.
Your Profile
A suitable candidate will have a proven track record of research accomplishments including first author publications in international peer-reviewed journals and excellent experience in:
- molecular and cell biology techniques (RNA and protein analyses)
- work with murine disease models
- cell culture
- bioinformatic skills will be a plus
